Xi'an

We flew to Xian yesterday, long day up at 4am as flight was 7/30. Airport security for domestic flights is more intense than any International flight I have been on. Everyone gets scanned and frisked, all cameras, umbrellas, tablets, laptops etc separate scan and all carry on bags opened and no unsealed bottle even in check ons so few people had to drink all their opened duty free in Beijing or tip out. Luckily we did buy any this time.

Terracotta Warriors today but yesterday was Xian Museum, western Gate of city wall & city lights at night. Ancient City Wall is 4kms x 3kms so  14 km around and in very good condition, you can take a golf cart or bike right around. We didn't bother in the 35 degree heat.
