Another day in the mid thirties when we visited the Terracotta Warriors site yesterday and as usual in China crowded with overseas and local tourists. - Bloody Tourist!
Never realised that of ever warrior excavated so far only one, the often displayed kneeling Archer, was not broken. The reason they are broken is that a farmers revolt against the Emperors son and successor raided the warriors for their bronze weapons and smashed the warriors and burnt the tombs.
